High Conducting Polypyrrole As A Low Temperature Sensor
Since they were first reported by Weiss and co-workers in the year 1963, research on conducting Polypyrroles has become a major thrust area. Extremely high conductivity of this polymer along with its myriad applications in the field of organic electronics has caught the attention of numerous researchers worldwide. Moreover, the potential role of Polypyrrole as a drug delivery agent has opened a new vista in the ongoing research on this polymer. Number of books and monographs on conducting polymers are available. However, it is observed that no book was available in the market, which was specifically devoted to this particular polymer designed and synthesized by the novel chemical oxidative polymer synthesis route mentioned in this book. This book attempts to be a sort of a ready reckoner for material scientists, researchers in various universities and industries. Doctoral students who are working on Polypyrrole can find this book as a useful guide for their literature review, which, by all means, is a very important part in a doctoral research thesis. I sincerely hope that the study of this book on conducting Polypyrrole will be a rewarding experience for every reader since it is a genuine attempt from my side to try and tap the intriguing properties of this excellent polymer.
